Is back from the maelstrom, is tired, achey and slightly sunburned. Was ok event but still the worst I can call to mind in recent history. Boring and seemed very ill planned on the part of the hosts, was expecting more.
Too much heat led to mild case of heat stroke on my part but was certainly better than the weather at easter. More when I have had a bath, eaten and my diclofenac have kicked in properly.

I know there was more carnival than the bits I saw, but I really was dissapointed by the lack of carnage. Someone should try putting 'peace' in the name of their event, that should ensure we see more action on the stabbing up and shouting scale =)

There was stabbidy death (to quote our suplication) but it was kinda pointless despite being of important people. One of them, Jenet considers no great loss aside from the fact that he was Huntress. The other was not killed by any of the enemies he had made and spent the last few years carefully cultivating, nor was it the result of a glorious mosh or even a casualty of the hunt. No, it was a random stabbing by an equally random snake-man just because he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The only satisfaction was that said random snake-man tried to sacrifice him and couldn't 'cos there was a blessing in the way.

*Sigh* Emo Jenet will continue to be emo for the forseeable future by the looks of things!

Gah, so much FOIP I want to froth about!
