(no subject)

Ok that's annoying! change page by accident and it's all gone! Not that I'd actually written that much - Ah well, here goes again.

I've decided that I'm going to at least vaguely use this one, for one thing it gives me somewhere to vent that the people who know about my other journal don't have access to...yet. It also means that I can access a lot of other people's journals since most of the insane crowd I call friends are on LJ and most people just look at you funny if you say D-X to them. I would have had one of these things long ago but at the time you needed invites and I had no one to invite me *sniff*.

I'm still vaguely trying to decide whether this gets used as a normal journal - which would mean me either updating two or just putting all the stuff that I don't want to put in my other one here, or just as a receptacle for all my random bouts of creativity ... it'll probably wind up being both.

I really do fail to understand myself sometimes, I've NEVER been able to keep a diary, I had one as a kid and it got used once in a blue moon - almost literally (Interesting fact there, blue moons do actually occur at least once a year - it's when you get two full moons in one month and the blue moon refers to the second one...not sure what it's called when you get two darks in the same month...) and now I have two online journals one of which I keep up semi regularly, the other one (this one obviously) remains to be seen.

Ah well, enough ramblings for now, other things to do today,

Well, one thing I've discovered - titles are bad plans. They come up next to the date and look really out of place and wierd. One more thing, the spell check is really useful but it doesn't seem to recognise apostrophies...it comes up with the "ve" of something like "I've" as a spelling error...bizarre.

Yay, new layouts...I'm possibly over impressed by this...
This is partially a test entry 'cos I've been hunting through the communities and joined a couple of the pagan ones, hopefully I'll get someone to chat to about all things esoteric now - I miss MW but it was jsut too much to keep up with most of the time and I always felt a little guilty posting requests when I posted so rarely anywhere but on my altar...Then I got grumpy when I made a rare request for me rather than someone else and it got ignored. I guess what I really miss is PP the way it used to be before everything with Aari kicked off and Volute's bitch mode got initiated, back when the realm of fluffydom was still in existance...Hell I miss PP generally even if I did get royaly pissed with them at times.
Anyway, yeah, posting to find out whether this will actually post without showing up on the lists because otherwise I'm going to have to go hunting the management menu again...Sometimes I really hate technology! I would guess it should be OK since the lists are on my friends lists not the other way around...Ah well, here goes....

Yay! It worked...or at least it had worked - I just edited it to make it public again but by the previous logic...
Oh and I'm also just a little bouncy that standard html font changes work - I get so fed up with html changes coming out just as you type them, makes it look really strange and makes trying to read an entry bizarre as well. Well since I changed layout I'm also going to see where the titles come out on this...it may become worth trying to think them up again...

Goddess but I do ramble, why am I bothering again?!
