I need to update, I know I need to update so why has my brain gone all quiet on me?! It seems like everytime I sit down to write anything the last few days that everything shuts down and I forget what I wanted to say. I need to get another part of GiC at least started, there needs to be two BBCi length parts before I put in the flash that I wrote the other night I know that, so that's about 3/4,000 words to go. I seem to be hitting a brick wall though, an idea appears, gets worked through then the trails that were supposed to lead places get snowed all over! *snaps fingers* Which reminds me, I do have something I need to go put on my inspirations sheet...magpies rule!

The main problem I seem to be having is that I need to have her finding things out relatively slowly but I want to give the readers previews. I don't want to use too many flashbacks but first person makes it difficult dropping hints to the reader and not to the character. Maybe I need to do what I've been thinking about and take a break from Jenna's point of view, perhaps it's time to give the big bad some space to herself...then again if I do that am I making the flash redundent? I really don't want to lose the impact of that or the sense that the reader isn't quite sure who is doing the deed... Having the meditation kick off another change might also be a good plan, take her on a flight and see what happens...yes, that might be the best thing to do. At any rate I can write it and see what response I get then see where it leads, that's the hardest thing to do, just to write when you're not sure if you're writing the right thing, where you're going with it or even if you're going to keep it. It's a good lessin though.

I've finally got my subscription for Gothador sorted for the next three months which is cool. I, well, we have a cult, it just needs three more members and two more levels before we can have a square...cult squares are useful! It's just a shame you have to be a supporter to officially be part of a cult or it would be far easier recruiting members. I should also wander back to GothIC and see what's going on, I just keep deleting my digests and thinking I'll go check the club but it's been two months and there's probably a whole pile of mail that I need to read, ah well, I can't avoid it forever and I do miss the random chats. It's bad enough that I lost RBC 'cos I was off for so long, I'm not going to start again though, not at the moment, Gothador is more fun and has less mail than the COVE ever did, besides I was there earlier and am not a small baby type character!

I've been haunting RPOL rather excessively recently as well, I just seem to have reawakened my utter obsession with having many games running at once, possibly because my FW inspiration has gone into hiding and I'm looking for some way to bring it back, I don't know. Anyway, I've finally got a basic plot concept for the Exalted game I've been planning to run on there for I don't know how long - now I just need a name for it, the game that is. Given the general theme of things Black Lightning seems vaguely appropriate but that just brings so many LJS references to mind...(Mmmm Julian!) Or possibly something along the lines of Lightning Strikes, I just don't want it to sound too crap and contrived or give a false impression BUT I want a vague feel for the plot without giving anything major away....I don't want much do I?!

I've rambled enough, time to get back to some thinking.
