(no subject)

Remember about two months ago I was complaining because I'd waited weeks for downtime to go up then it was all over even though I was doing much coolness? Well this time it took me nearly a week to get anything done and this is the third time I've had to alter it...I suppose I shouldn't complain, it means I get emails off the lovely Katy (Maddie) and it's just getting me right back into Maelstrom mode...although I'm having those strange angsty "shouldn't go" feelings about that, maybe it's just because I've had a couple of successful events and I'm starting to feel paranoid!

I finally have the laptop I've been after for ages...did I mention that before? Apparently it was supposed to be enough retail therapy to cheer me up a little, given the contents of the last post is anyone really surprised that retail therapy even of the expensive sort, didn't work? Then of course I had to explain that part of the point of the retail bit isn't just the buying, it's the walking round town trying things on, comparing notes, having a tea and generally doing girlyness. The actual spending of money is just a part of the whole. That and, while I have been after one for ages, you can't wear a laptop, you can't spend ages looking at yourself in it and planning where you're going to wear it to...Men just don't get these things do they?!
