Jan. 17th, 2006 02:15 pmStill feeling creative, this is good. Ok I don't think that I should take my laptop to work with me, that might be a little too much, especially since we're on the whole double staff thing. Besides, I've discovered that all this computer writing is sapping my ability to work with good old pen and paper, although it could just be that I've always preferred having more than just a reporter's notebook to scribble in, A4 is just so much more satisfying to work on for some reason...Ok, I'm babbling aren't I.
I will be taking my note book with me and, depending on how the shift goes may get some work done, even if I only write up a couple of the back stories - the ones I already know obviously since I'm not sure how my colleague (who is Christian) would react to me sitting in the front room with a Tarot deck spread out!
My FMC's past life still intrigues me, I want to get some detail on her, it may get worked into the story proper at some point but even if it doesn't it can go up as a seperate piece and make my shelf look fuller *grins* not that I intend to shamelessly pad it of course!
On another note...Ow! I managed to twist my ankle again earlier, the same one I keep doing so now of course it hurts lots. At least I don't have too much walking to do, I can always smile sweetly and get the other guy to do all the going out parts...I should also hunt my support bandage out, it might help me remember that I hurt and not do anything stupid! I should go do that now rather than sitting here typing, especially since I only have an hour until I have to be at work.
