Oct. 16th, 2007 04:51 pmCarnival was ok. Not great but ok. Having the stall was limiting as we had to be aware of not leaving the other girls on their own for too long, that wouldn't have been quite so bad if we'd sold more though. Still, I got to dance, play and drool over cute people wearing very little. It was a good night out, just not up to the standard I expected from Carnival of Souls.
So anyway, on to NaNo.
Hmm, or not. As happens a lot I've let myself get distracted and forgotten what I wanted to say. I'm going to get some planning and stuff done in the next day or so and update properly.
Although one thing that those fond of the crazier parts of the english language might appreciate: http://coyotesqrl.blogspot.com/2007/10/in-fucking-credible-infix.html
Oh, and something from Neil Gaiman's blog that is going to be taped to the inside of my laptop to make me feel better through November:
"And I am still posting links to things instead of writing interesting things in the blog, because I am still somewhere in the hell that's either Chapter 5 or Chapter 6 of THIS DAMNED BOOK which seems determined to be longer than it was meant to be. (You're not a novel, I tell it. You're not even a novella. You're a novelette. And you're due in on Monday. But the story merely laughs and stretches ominously and I have no idea what this bloody pool is doing in the middle of the forest.)"
