triple_flameI've finally discovered what was (is) up with RPOL, their server host has been bought out and the new company are bastards! Not only have they upped their prices by 30% but they're shifting the entire thing from one side of America to the other...obviously this makes sense to them! Anyway, with any luck it should be up and running again by next weekend at the latest by the sounds of things.
In other happenings, I have been working 6 months come this sunday...I'm pretty sure that's a record for me as temp agencies don't exactly count as one job. This has 3 effects, 1) it looks great on my CV. 2) It leads to happy parents and potential presents! 3) It means that my money goes up which, because my hours have gone down due to lack of sleep-ins means that everything balances and it's all good. If tonight's shift is anything like the last two I have high hopes of getting some writing done. *Crosses fingers* Please let it be another quiet one!
Of course things can't all be going well, I appear to be going down with something that feels suspiciously like tonsilitis...I suppose I should be thankful that it's only the second dose this year. It is however making me feel really crappy and I'm in danger of losing my voice, yet another reason I'm praying for a quiet shift tonight - there's not much good having to yell at Chris when he has a good reason to pretend he didn't hear you!
Anyway, I should go make myself some lemon and honey rather than rambling on here.
