Just a quick line to let everyone know that I am still alive out here and have finally rediscovered the internet button on my computer!
I refuse to write a big update for the past three months or so, I can't remember all the little details and all the people that need to know stuff have seen me in the flesh and been ranted at/talked to/hugged.
So...
Still working, a year come next month. Not sure how much longer it will last though, really upset with some of the things that have been happening recently.
Happy Birthday me! 26 today...eep!
1 week til NaNo and counting. Still not sure whether to get on with Tooth and Claw (part 2 of Pryde and Honour - title possibly to change because it's not a Dr Who episode and I came up with the title first dammit!) or try to take the random drabble I wrote with my succubus girly somewhere. I do have some ideas for her although they've moved away from the original somewhat. I suppose this is a good thing since it means that I'm world building and have a far better idea of who she is and what she's doing! The other thought is to just write a set of short stories set in the world of Pryde and Honour, try to get a few of the characters set a little more firmly in my head. Ony problem is that last time I tried drabbling it got brought into the story, this was neat and filled in some background on an otherwise unknown character in a non-info-dumpish manner but it's not something I can do on a regular basis.
Oh yes, this also means that for the entirity of November this LJ will be full of random novel stuff like word counts, cups of tea drunk, cups of tea gone cold and number of times I've wanted to smash my computer!
We will *fingers crossed* be moving into a house before the new year! We could be moving already but there is the whole appeal thing to sort out first due to sucky doctors who don't know what they're talking about. So 3 bedrooms, a decent kitchen and a back garden here we come!
There, I think that's all the big news at the moment. Hugs and Loves to all the people I haven't spoken to in months.
