Mar. 16th, 2005 05:09 pmGiven my vague rantiness in the last entry I have to say that WD has surpassed my wildest expectations. I still feel sore at the Beeb for shutting down GW 6-18 months earlier than they ever intended (still no explanation on that either) but WD has all the atmosphere and is actually easier to navigate given the BB system, it's just like any other forum I've belonged to. I found after a while at GW I tended to keep an eye on a few people's spaces and occasionally picked up trackbacks to others through comments (Ok so maybe it was my fault for not haunting the review boards more) but with this I just get to scroll down and pick up on all the interesting titles whoever they're by. Besides, as the site itself says, it was set up mainly for providing us with a refuge.
It has the advantage (like GW I suppose) of an incredibly wide range of experience so you get an equally wide range of both work and reviews.
Ok I'll stop frothing now but people should go check it out! http://www.writersdock.co.uk

And yes I'm feeling better today for some reason.
