May. 20th, 2005 05:39 pmRandom update. The trains actually ran to time yesterday which has to be a miracle in itself! Things are as quiet here as ever but so far that is a good thing. I've finished the fairy I started quilling last time I was here (well, nearly, she still needs her face finishing.), there are all sorts of plans to get some beading done and I've been designated as teacher for making origami kimonos...they're not as difficult as they look when you know how!
I have, however drunk far too much tea already! I'm not sure whether it's that or other things but I can feel myself bloating...never mind, swimming after the weekend and I can always switch to herbal type teas again, I usually do. Am in the process of installing MSN messenger (as opposed to the standard windows one which is neither use nor ornament!) for some reason it thinks that Appersett doesn't exist. I mean I know the place is small but it kept telling me to provide a valid postcode...it's good enough for Royal Mail but not MSN apparently! In case you were wondering I was trying to sign my Mum's email on to an account since she doesn't have hotmail and will only get lost with more accounts. I've persuaded her that MSN is a good plan, on the grounds that I can use it to walk her through computer problems so she doesn't need to put up with my dad's impatient attempts to explain things!
Well, speaking of downloady stuff, it seems to be done so I should probably go install and things.
