Ok so that won't make sense to a whole lot of people but since I'm leaving it open I feel that I should at least attempt an explanation.
The text behind the cut constitutes two parts of the NW fanfic that I started writing oh, two years ago? It must be at least that long. It started going up on the Nightworld.net writings list as and when I completed a new section but it's been so long since I actually did anything that I'm going to leave it until I have the thing almost completed and then post it up at a few parts a week so people aren't left hanging for months.
Part of the reason there has been a huge gap was the computer dying, I'd written a really nice chapter that spanned the year's gap in the middle and that was one of the things I lost irretrievably. It was almost enough to make me give up on the whole idea and I still haven't re-written that particular part, those of you reading this who write yourselves will understand how it feels to have something to the point where you are totally happy with it and then lose it through a power cut or server crash or something equally mundane. Add to that the fact that it wasn't even my own fault for not saving, I just had most of my files wiped out and that particular section didn't happen to be on the back-up disk...I was pretty sick about the whole thing.
Anyway I've actually found inspiration now and since a certain person has a minor obsession with my dragon but hasn't had a chance to read two whole chapters pretty much devoted to him, I thought I'd post them for her. Neither of these have been edited much and I will get around to it, I just wanted to get them down on paper (or screen as the case may be).
I'm also considering starting another journal just for all my random scribblings, it may very well get done in November for my NaNoWriMo stuff at which point I shall post the link on here and welcome all comments and suggestions (that don't involve editing) with open arms!
Well, that's it for me from now, I'm going to sit back for a minute or two and enjoy the line of "creative" and "accomplished" mood icons that I'm building up :)
