(no subject)

Well this has to be a first, I'm not at work and I've been up since 7.30! I'm not even packing, which I should be, I'm sitting updating LJ and wandering over to Rpol to let people that I'm going to be away for a week...
I will be taking my laptop so hopefully the surroundings will inspire me to write something even if it isn't what I should be writing!! My goal for the week I come back is 10,000 words, I know I can do it so it will just be a matter of discipline (and chocolate!) to sit myselg down and not get distracted by Guild Wars and things! I am serious about getting the first draft of Pryde and Honour finished by the end of July at the latest...gods that seems close now...I'm on 65,000 so I have at least another 25,000 to go. If I can get another 15,000 down before I go back to work on the 19th that leaves me with 10,000 next month which is perfectly doable. If I set my overall goal to 100,000 then that still only means 20,000 next month, If I really set myself to it I can do that in less than 2 weeks, look at what I accomplished during NaNo month!

Anyway, enough novel frothing for now, I have more important things to be doing right this second.

Will you be around and existing in Nuneaton on the 15th/16th/17th of the month, since I'm going to be heading to the W.Uni barcrawl on the 16th so if you're around wouldn't mind meeting up?

And send me more of your writings when you have some - need more reading material :D
