I think I'm having girlie night withdrawal! It seems like forever since we had a proper night with no emergencies interrupting it and nothing to stop us sitting up all night, no where to go, nothing to get up for.
I want to sit in a house with friends and tea and notebooks and frothage and dvd's until the sun comes up and no one can actually remember what we're babbling about...when did I grow up all of a sudden and how come it happened when I wasn't looking?!

Awww that sounds like fun! I still stay the night over at my cousin's house from time to time, which isn't typical behaviour after age 16 here. It's especially unlikely to happen when she has a child to attend to as well. But, it works for us. We usually play games or watch DVDs too. Now, though, I also get to play with a 3 and a half year old. :)

lol. Well my girlie nights differ slightly depending on who is around. If it's just me and simara there will be lots of frothing about roleplay, our current WiP, acting and Dr Who...well, David Tennant. If there are other people around we cut down on the roleplay talk since most of our female friends think we're a bit crazy. Of course there's always the occasional philosophical and magical discussion. We generally end up setting the world to rights and bemoaning the fact that no one else seems to have the common sense to see things the way we do.

Usually the DVDs are just on in the background. Even if it's something we're obsessed with something will spark a conversation and we'll end up talking through it.

well, i have many DVD's we haven't talked our way through yet, some new writings I'm working on and much maelfrothing to do:) Also, I am free all this week except friday and saturday.

Hunts out rota...well I'm on an early on monday so I may just drop round for tea and frothage if you're about. Failing that we can work another day out.

Of course I'll probably have to phone you with this since I have no idea if you'll actually get to read it before monday...
