I have a shiny shiny purple bar!
I do not have a finished story nor do I have plot that is good but I have a novel and it might be editable into something that doesn't make me cringe at the thought of showing it to people.

Way to go! Congratulations on your purple bar. I'm quite interested to find out how the story turned out. I managed to get mine ended at just under 57,000 words, which pleases me no end.

I'm sure it's not as bad as you think (it never is) and once we've edited and reworked I am sure we will both have masterpieces that any publisher would fall over to get their hands on. Or something like that anyway:)

Thanks guys, and congratulations to all of you on hitting the 50k mark. I've written most of the rest of my novel up in note form since I have a vague idea what I want the end to be, it's all kinds of messy but at least it's there.
